Used Smart Passion

The Smart Passion comes in either coupe or cabriolet body styles. The coupe is quite packed with value, and this is evident in the sporty specs and features it comes with. These include alloy wheels, a panorama roof, air conditioning, climate control, power windows, electric and heated side mirrors, 3-spoke leather sports steering wheel, and a radio/CD player. The cabriolet, on the other hand, boasts of all the coupe’s features, plus the following upgrades – an MP3 compatible sound system complete with in-dash 6-disk CD changer, a soft top, and a heated rear glass window that you can adjust to any position automatically. Engine-wise, both the coupe and the cabriolet come with the 1.0-L 70 hp 3-cylinder engine. You also get to choose between 5-speed automatic and 5-speed manual transmission, along with paddle shifters to complete the equation. 9-spoke alloy wheels at 15 inches support both body styles, with 155/60 R15 for the front tyres and 175/55 R15 for the rear tyres. They also come with a very efficient tyre pressure monitoring system. As for the interior, both body styles share some features as well. These include the 3-spoke leather sports steering wheel that comes with steering wheel shift paddles. Of course, the leather gear knob comes with this package as well. Both also come with seats boasting of weight detection and seatbelt recognition. You can also fold your passenger seat flat, along with backrest adjustments. Storage areas can easily be found beside the steering wheel, as well as in both doors. A coin holder, a dome light, a lockable glove compartment, and a mirror in the passenger sun visor can be found in the coupe and the cabriolet as well. Safety has always been a top priority for the used Smart Passion. Both body styles are trimmed with full size airbags for driver and passenger, head/neck side airbags, electronic stability programme with hill start assist, ABS with electronic brake force distribution, integral safety seats, a hydraulic dual-circuit brake system, seatbelts with pretensioners and belt-force limiter, panic button on key, drive lock with auto-activation of central locking while driving, Top Tether for child restraint, and a tyre repair kit. Only a number of features distinguish one from the other. For starters, the coupe comes with a panorama roof while the cabriolet has a fully automatic convertible top complete with glass rear window. The coupe’s audio system is quite basic, while that of the cabriolet comes with the Smart sound system comprised of 2 tweeters, 2 mid-range, and a subwoofer.
